So I used the purple separate X polish pod that I posted a few posts ago because my daughter took the top off and there's no way to put it back on to reuse/avoid having it dry out. The application was kind of watery and difficult due to the distribution of paint onto the brush when squeezed. The color was a nice eggplant metallic. I covered it with a pearlish flakey glitter than covered with a matte coat.

Plastic Wrap Marble
Quick easy way to get a cool effect:
1. White base coat
2. Random blobs of color(I used Funky Fingers Cowabunga (pink), Harry from the One Direction polish collection (blue), and Funk Fingers Highlighter (yellow) covering white
3. Lay plastic lightly over
4. Rub gently
5. Pull off
I think I'd like to try this with different shades of blue also.

September Julep Maven Box
This month I got the color QUINN which to me is a deep grayish purple and LUPITA a creamy deep red and PLUSH POUT lip crayon in ALMOND NUDE CREME. For the first time ever I received a broken bottle (Quinn) which had been cracked with polish which had came out adhering the packaging to the bottle. I emailed Julep to let them know and am awaiting a response. The lip crayon is very smooth without feeling greasy or sticky and smells nice with a good neutral color.
